She earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, then completed dermatology residency training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she trained with internationally recognized hair-loss expert Dr. Antonella Tosti. She later held an academic cosmetic dermatology role at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth.
